select business development professionals throughout the Eastern US. This is a unique opportunity to join an

businesses. Our client is a well established asset management ocompany offering an exceptional compensation package that includes six-figure base plus bonuses and commissions.
Responsibilities
Business development professionals are responsible for
creating and implementing a business plan that prioritizes prospective markets,
identifies and cultivates specific target client groups and closes on new
opportunities. Success in this position
requires the development of a network of high net worth individuals and their
centers of influence through proactive outreach. Once a new client relationship is
established, the position will ensure a smooth transition to a fulfillment team
comprised of wealth planners, client relations coordinators and portfolio
managers.
The position will report regularly to senior management
to discuss sales goals and progress. The
ability to create and meet aggressive sales goals is a priority for
success. Some travel is required. No
relocation necessary.
Background
5 to 10 years of documented experience in
financial sales and a record of setting and meeting increasingly aggressive
sales goals.
Visibility and involvement in the high net worth
community.
A consultative approach to sales and problem
solving including listening to understand.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to
communicate effectively and confidently.
Ability to build meaningful relationships and
converting contacts into clients.
Sensitivity to privacy and discretion, and
unquestionable ethical standards.
An interest in financial markets and wealth
issues with a particular desire to improve client’s lives.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
