My client has grown to a $35 Million company in just 5 years and a 50.9% increase over total revenues for the second quarter of 2004 and up 3.1% growth since first quarter 2005. They are targeted to be $100MM in 2008. Their unique technology provides doctors with alternative methods for surgical procedures.

The Manufacturing Engineer contributes to the company success through the development, qualification, verification and validation of manufacturing processes. This will lead cross-functional project teams in a creative and collaborative way to achieve the company’s goals of producing market lead products through positive patient outcomes. This position is also responsible for maintaining and executing all document quality control procedures required complying with federal regulations.

With a Bachelor’s degree and experience in industrial engineering, Lean/Six Sigma, SPC, MVDA, Design of Experiment and validations you have the basic background we seek.  Very strong preference for Master’s or equivalent with a minimum of 5-7 years experience, a Six Sigma Black Belt certification and medical device  experience then you will move to the top of the heap. Solid understanding of IQ, PQ, OQ and familiarity with poke-yoke, GD&T, supply chain, MRP and other planning systems are needed for this position.
