With globalization being a core strategy, our client is expanding its sales and manufacturing operations into the US market with significant investment. The goal is to help their strategic partners in the US succeed by providing quality products and reliable, local service. To achieve this goal, they are looking to recruit a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager in the Northeast. They are looking for candidates with a strong entrepreneurial and problem-solving mindset to join their team and start this exciting growth journey together. Responsibilities Develop business strategies, set sales targets and create action plans for the revenue growth in the assigned region.Identify, vet and onboard distribution partners aligned with company business vision and culture. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at distribution partners, acting as a business consultant to understand their needs and develop solutions. Utilize CRM to track sales activities and provide insightful reports on territory performance to leadership team. Managing day-to-day sales operation in the assigned region with a focus on the SIOP process to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Develop technical knowledge and expertise of company’s products and solutions. Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets while managing the full lead-to-cash process. Provide excellent customer service to distribution partners with integrity, passion, responsiveness and leadership. Maintain excellent communication with different departments at headquarters to ensure alignment and efficiency in business operations. Collect and analyze competitive market intelligence to support decision-making at headquarters. Attend industry events and local trade shows as needed to gather product information and generate leads. Complete other tasks as assigned by the leadership team. This role reports to the VP of Sales and Operations.
Sales experience in the adhesive tape and packaging industry. Proven track record of achieving challenging sales target by developing a new customer base using various sales strategies and techniques. Strong entrepreneurial mindset with confidence, determination and creativity to establish processes and solve problems in a new, fast-growing organization where resources might be limited initially. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt and excel in a multicultural working environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
