In this role you will provide leadership and direction for a specific product line/  With an expertise in physics of failure (POF) and reliability you will provide in house credibility as to the principles and use of H&H testing. Working with both internal staff and customers providing technical suggestions for product use an improvement, and practical applications on POF, fixturing and H&H test setup and interpretation. May also get involved with training seminars and conventions. you will be responsible for keeping line relevant and up to date, balancing resources with desired improvements and recommending priorities for changes and improvements. Will; also manage product line. Competitive analysis, design theory and benefits. May also get involved with sales calls directly with customers.

Background:

 
•Bachelor's degree
•Prefer 5 years experience in reliability
•Experience with HALT and POF a MUST
•Demonstrated success in innovative quality and continuous improvement programs and techniques
•Strong preference for background and understanding of Six Sigma and Lean principles.
•Knowledge of medical device industry is a strongly preferred
