Global Business Development Manager – West Coast (remote) - Bay Area, SoCal or Seattle

Our Company is a global leader in providing precision die-cut component parts for customers in the wearables, electronics, automotive, and medical industries. Utilizing state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies at eight global locations, our Sales Executives partner closely with customers to solve complex manufacturing and assembly problems. We strive to provide customers with innovative ideas, quality products and exceptional service, at competitive prices.

We are seeking a Sales Executive for our territory in California or Seattle.

Excellent communication skills are a must, along with strong mechanical aptitude. Previous experience with adhesive tapes or similar thin flexible materials (films, foams, foils, etc.) is a plus. The sales representative will work out of their office & report to the Sales Director.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and execute a sales plan to help achieve personal and company goals and objectives

-Explain and demonstrate technical aspects of products available
-Forecast, solicit and secure orders from potential and existing customers
-Maintain professional relationship with key persons on all accounts
-Prepare periodic reports

-Secure opportunities to quote on customer requirements in diverse markets (automotive, manufacturing, transportation, medical device / wearables, IOT, electronics, LED lighting, general industrial, etc.)

-Understand customer processes and sell value versus price

-Utilize solutions-based selling skills

-Travel up to 40-50% in sales territory

Requirements:

-Minimum of 5-8 years of successful sales experience in industrial sales direct to Electronics, Industrial, OEM's, Medical Device and/or Automotive / Transportation markets.

-A willingness to work independently and as part of a team

-Experience in solution selling

-Must be able to present in a professional manner and possess excellent presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written)

-Previous experience in a problem-solving environment

-Experience selling in the industrial market arena

-Extensive customer following

-Familiarity with Engineered Materials, Gaskets, Die Cutting, Converting, or Fabricated Products from suppliers such as 3M, Tesa, Avery, Rogers, and other thin flexible materials

-Excellent computer skills

-Outstanding sales preparation and organizational skills

-Creative problem solving
