Our client, located in Markham, is looking for a service desk manager. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting procedures on the Service Desk Documenting and maintaining knowledge articles for the service desk staff to enable support. • Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of your team to meet or exceed company objectives in an assigned area.
• Setting priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinating work activities with other supervisors to meet overall company objectives.
• Monitoring the team’s performance and providing feedback to Service Desk Agent’s and Service Desk Captain’s both formally and informally.
• Working with the Service Desk Director to address any performance and/or HR issues.
• Rolling out new services, processes and procedures within your service desk team.
• Assisting Quality Assurance to ensure quality control of service desk team.
• Assisting with training and development by providing input of training material and identifying training needs for your team.
• The availability and willingness to work with shift patterns that support a 24/7 operation.
