Job Description Operations-Production Manager: Here's a great opportunity to join a Building Materials Company that specializes in Doors, Windows, and more in the Indianapolis area. In this role you'll oversee the execution of all aspects of daily operations, including (but not limited to) production, shipping/receiving, inventory control, performance monitoring, quality assurance oversight, staffing, subcontractor management/staffing and compliance with internal and external requirements.
We're looking for someone with the following experience....
• Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years related Operational Experience or equivalent work experience
• Proven ability with operational analyses, processes and performance indicators
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
• Ability to work as a team member as well as independently
• Knowledge within the trade of doors, frames, and hardware is highly preferred
• Proven work experience as operations manager
• Understands how to capture and use data in decision making
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills with timely follow-up
• Uphold high value for customer service relationships
• Proven ability to motivate and lead teams as well as hold them accountable for achieving company goals
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook .PDF reader & editor

Responsibilities • Leadership, Management, Accountability (LMA)
• Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements to include but not limited to, state and federal regulations
as well as corporate policies
• Manage direct reports and cost-effective operations
• Manage subcontractors as applicable
• Collaborate with other Managers to ensure effective coordination of activities
• Participate in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures in collaboration
with key stakeholders
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers
• Participate in the development and implementation of innovative methodologies to improve service levels and
overall operational efficiency
• Monitor performance against key indicators established internally or by external stakeholders
• Develop solutions to issues as they arise
• Develop performance goals and objectives and monitor achievement of those goals
• Perform other duties as may be assigned
• Maintain a safe working environment for all employees
• Participate in biannual inventory counts/process
