The successful candidate will be one who blends well with the culture, enjoys building teams and camaraderie, and is adept and flexible with both detailed and strategic contributions. The culture is friendly, mutually supportive, and accountable for success. The new vice president of lending & programs is a member of the senior management team and must have proven expertise in management, leadership, employee development, regulatory compliance, and accountable for the success of the entire team.
The candidate must be at ease in coaching and mentoring situations and performing detailed work while, at the same time, being visionary and strategic. Presentations to the board are on a regular schedule, and this vice president will attend board, pricing, and ALCO meetings as well as annual strategic planning sessions and participate in outside professional organization meetings on a regular basis.
