Our Client

This company has a well-established presence in Australia, with a particularly strong footprint in the Eastern states of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

They operate an integrated supply chain for five key products: cotton, almonds, pulses, grains and dairy, delivering these to over 500 customers worldwide.

Their head office is located in Brisbane (Queensland) with regional offices located within Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.


They currently require a Marketing Services Officer to be in based Wee Waa, NSW to join their cotton division.

The major production area in NSW stretches south from the Macintyre River on the Queensland border, and covers the Gwydir, Namoi and Macquarie valleys.

Willingness to travel regularly within a 2-hour radius will be required to meet the demands of this role.

Prime Function

Reporting to the Position Manager, the Marketing Services Officer’s primary responsibility will be to manage client relationships and engage in marketing through the accumulation of cotton.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high level customer service and manage administrative processes around grower marketing and ginning contracts
  • Maintain up-to-date grower contacts and production information
  • Ensure maximum cotton volumes are contracted for each cotton season
  • Manage ginning logistics at designated gin sites
  • Provide weekly market and activity reports

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in an account management or customer service role
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Computer literacy, recording and reporting skills

Previous experience in the cotton industry is not essential. We are seeking an induvial with an affinity for rural industries and maintaining customer relationships.


  • Driver’s licence
  • Post-secondary qualifications in marketing, business or similar (desirable but not essential)
