Our Client: A big player in the retail sector established in the kingdom is looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer.
Your role: At the outset, we would like to be clear that the position is very high up the pecking order and there are certain details of the position that we would only share with shortlisted candidates. Sensitivities always surround something at this level! - The client organization is undergoing significant transformation and integration of business units so your key focus would be on strategic leadership, performance management of business units, treasury, Capex, organizational transformation, upgrading the digital capabilities and analytics, capital allocation, mergers & acquisitions, and management of investors. Since the market downturns, the role of the CFO has developed beyond the traditional boundaries of the Finance department and our client seeks the same track record for the future incumbent. Working in close connection with the CEO you need to able to operate at two levels...high strategic levels and a business partner to the board and the ability to roll up your sleeves and fix operational issues and optimize the current system.
Must-Have: We are looking for a leader who has operated with organizations of high complexity, revenues over US 2 billion, and has driven change at the highest levels. Globally, we face unchartered territory and uncertain times in the foreseeable future. It brings about the need to have a qualified finance professional with over twenty years of experience in diversified industries. You should have had exposure to investment management as well during your career. They are looking for a mature professional to join their senior leadership team and support the CEO for the journey ahead.
