Our Client: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an ambitious FMCG business, our client is looking for a result driven Market Development Manager.
Your Role: You would be working closely with the distributors in the region, enhancing distributor capability, take proactive action in consolidating distributors or doing the due diligence for new partnerships. Developing volume sales for the specified products. Maximize sales and distribution across chosen markets/channels for the products, Streamlining and strengthening the distribution network. Developing effective systems / mechanism to monitor market and performance of sales. Analyzing, developing and executing distinctive programs to yield measurable results across the modern trade sector. You would reevaluate the current go to market strategy versus the business / channels and customer.
Must Have: What you must have 10+ years of rich Sales experience in a FMCG setup with specific focus on managing internal sales teams and distributors across levels. Operational excellence combined with the ability to look at the larger picture. Please bear in mind that you need to be from the consumer goods / food & beverage arena and have substantial depth at an operational and strategic level...Hands on role.
