Your Role: You should be able to work across a big department and substantial budgets to drive transformation and bring in the best global practices. Setting the tone for change and driving efficiencies you should have the ability to carry people and influence mindsets .Prior experience in an organization which went through transformation from the traditional to the virtual would be great to have. Ability to set the strategic sourcing plan across a wide geography, implement the plan and have hands on experience in procurement IT tools would be critical. Since the role plays a very important part in the way things will move forward your experience in change management, moving to more of an e procurement model and being able to move away from a heavily transactional to a more strategic level is important. In a nutshell you would support the vision / mission and strategy for the procurement function.
Must Have: Saudi Nationals only with strong academic backgrounds and a zest for driving efficiencies. Prior experience in managing project based procurement for large construction projects in the hospitality sector would be an added advantage.
