Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a name to reckon with in the Retail industry, they are on a very interesting trajectory with aggressive expansion on the cards brings the need to have a strong Retail Management professional.

Your Role:

You need to develop & grow the business by setting & implementing long & short term business strategy & plans and ensure that the Retail division is run in the most efficient & effective manner to achieve division’s objectives and profitability each year.

Develop & oversee long term strategic and shorter term tactical plans incorporating expenditure & revenue budgets designed to ensure business growth, profitability and return on investment is achieved. Direct and manage all aspects of the business operation in a manner which best enables the business plans to be achieved.

Develop and communicate appropriate plans and approaches for public relations & advertising to pitch the right brand image in the market, and customer relations to expand customer base and maintain & manage relationships with key & valued customers.

Introduce new brand selection when required, negotiate deals & details of new contracts, and decide on positioning of new outlets.

Manage various aspects of new shops and plan implementation for timely opening, including execution of store design as per principal’s specifications and overseeing project progress in terms of cost & quality control.

Analyze market trends & customers’ preferences, decide on expenditure and approve buying plans and merchandising budgets in line with sales and business strategy for the division.

Establish and maintain effective business relations with key business partners and sustainable network with people & entities that matter to business to further business interests. Develop motivational strategies of staff in the division as well as coach and mentor direct reports to ensure that all staff is encouraged to maximize their capability and contribution.

Must Haves:

Fluency in Arabic & English is Must.

An accomplished Retail operating executive with extensive specialty store experience in best of class retail environments; able to bring experience and exposure to “best practices” to a rapidly growing enterprise.

Demonstrated track record of success leading and inspiring retail teams to maximize sales, operating efficiencies and bottom line profit.

Strong leader with the ability to assess, attract and develop talent; with a history of developing people as evidenced by the promotion and advancement of individuals from their previous teams.

Collaborative, engaging style in balance with a high sense of urgency and drive for results.

Lead every day by example.
