Our Client:

Our client, a leading name in the food business is looking for an intellectually agile and numerically sound Regional Sales Manager in Riyadh

Your Role:

How to Sell? What to Sell? Channels to Sell in? How to drive revenues up and costs down? How to lead the complete commercial structure and Go to Market of the Center region of Saudi Arabia? How to increase the consumer base through the direct and indirect management of the retail and Food Service distribution and Trade Marketing initiatives? How to ensure that the strategy has internal alignment and the vision is cascaded all through the organization? How to ensure legal and financial compliance across all markets? .......Does this sound like something that you excel in ? Then we have an exciting opportunity for a professional from the Consumer Goods industry to be based in Riyadh which is a key market identified as the growth drivers.

In a nutshell you would be responsible to co-create, develop, enhance and deploy the category and channel strategy, vision and ambition of the region and also for the engagement and development plan of the direct employees of the region.

Other than the functional competencies you would have acquired in your stints as a Modern Trade / traditional trade expert, trade marketing expert, category management and sales capability ...you need to be a Strategic thinker who has a drive for results, Above average in understanding P&L proficiency, cash flow, balance sheet and very strong influencing skills which will be put to the test in markets where there is inertia.

You need well rounded experience in different sales functions in the industry, experience in diverse markets and are practically knocking at the door for the next Commercial Manager level assignment .

Must Haves:

Desired Skills and Experience

8+ yrs of quality sales experience in the consumer goods / fmcg industry

Deep knowledge about shopper behaviors and market differentiation between regions

The incumbent needs to have a Can Do attitude and enthusiasm to handle duties beyond their scope if required.

Fluency in English is must and Arabic would be highly preferred
