Job Description

Our client: A leading retail organisation in GCC is looking for an HR professional to join the senior leadership team.

The role: You would be accountable to manage business complexity and deliver results through multiple stakeholders. There is a high growth agenda for the business in the region, and the incumbent needs to ensure that appropriate support is available to deliver the objectives. Develops the departmental strategy in line with the functional strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies across the board. Defines an optimum organisation structure and direct the development of divisional structures so that resources are optimally utilised, and communication can take place in an efficient manner. Directs the workforce planning and budgeting activity and its regular updating in order to understand and prepare for manpower acquisition based on strategic objectives, designs and implements world-class organisational development frameworks, Develops fit-for-purpose talent management frameworks (performance management, competency assessment, succession planning, leadership programs etc.), through a thorough training and succession needs analysis, in order to build a highly competent and performing workforce and to consistently recognize, reward and retain top talent within the company. Designs and implements learning and development systems and environment that fosters learning ability.

Must Haves: You must be a Saudi national with 10+ yrs of quality experience and a strong academic background. The job needs an incumbent from the HR arena who understands ROI of the HR function on the business, has created a positive impact on the same, has been a part of the strategy development team, ensured that human capital agenda had a stake in the same, took prudent risks and created a master plan by which the organization remains not only agile but deeply engaged.
