Job Description Our Client- Leading FMCG multinational with a robust strategic vision for Africa region is on a look out for a dynamic Marketing Manager to manage the Sub-Saharan Africa region. The role will be based in Johannesburg.

Your Role- You'll be working in close partnership with the Sub-Saharan Africa Business Leader to define and implement the long term marketing and brand strategy in line with the Company portfolio strategy in the region, leading the development and implementation of all consumer and trade marketing plans in close collaboration with sales teams; deploying the marketing strategy and plans throughout the organization (at center, regional and local level). Develop brand strategy aligned with brand principles where company has branded business.To develop, implement and measure demand creation, marketing strategies and programs for each market. Encourage and foster team collaboration within a multi-functional team.

Must Have- University graduate – Honours / Masters in Marketing, business administration, business management and economics. Min 10 years of experience in FMCG environment, preferable within big multinational company. Experienced in working with emerging and mature markets. Personal Care Category experience will benefit although not essential. Need High leadership and ownership capabilities.Entrepreneurial and innovative approach. Tenacious strategical approach to projects. Should be able to look at holistic picture and MUST HAVE strong commercial acumen in order to connect the dots with the business.
