CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER

Community Financial Institution

A small, distinguished financial institution, whose mission is to provide value to their membership while managing a sound well-capitalized financial institution, is seeking a Chief Finance Officer with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) succession possibilities. This institution strives to build relationships through personalized banking.

The Chief Finance Officer is accountable for:

  • profit management
  • accounting
  • forecasting
  • CECL
  • financial analysis and reporting
  • investment analysis and strategies
  • budgeting/modeling
  • balance sheets
  • work closely with the CEO and make recommendations for new investment vehicles
  • work with the board of directors to answer questions about the balance sheet and financial reports
  • strategically guide the organization toward their vision within the context of their mission
  • strategic planning
  • research and analysis on product pricing
  • providing recommendations to the CEO

Candidates will need:

  • a minimum of five years management experience in a financial institution
  • bachelor’s degree, master’s degree with an area of specialty in finance and accounting is preferred
  • experience in accounting and finance
  • experience in community banks or credit unions

This financial institution is in a small town on Long Island. With a population of 25,000, residents get a small town feel but are also lucky enough to be near the big city. Compensation is up to $150,000.
