Job Description

Our Client: Our client is a leading organization and has the need to hire a senior professional to lead the risk department . It leads the enterprise risk management agenda for the organization.

Your Role : The department sits under the investment umbrella and has dual focus on M&A activity and ensuring the concept of ERM is embraced and strengthened within the subsidiaries so as to ensure the organizations overall risk is well managed, strategic growth is not impacted due to oversight or lack of risk assessment. Having a top down view you need to ensure that all business leaders work collaboratively to ensure that the risks are identified and addressed in the strategic plan .You would be responsible for managing the Risk Management function, which would includes providing direction for the overall organization and specific focus on risk assessment for new acquisitions, managed and non managed investments. Plans, designs and implements an overall risk management process for the organization. Conduct risk assessments; analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks .Pepares risk evaluation, comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organization such as costs, legal requirements and environmental factors and evaluating the organization’s ‘risk appetite’, i.e. the level of risk they are prepared to accept. Prepares risk reporting in an appropriate way for different audiences throughout the business. Handles corporate governance involving external risk reporting to stakeholders. Ensures the Board of Directors, management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior in the organization meets the company's Standards of Conduct. Conducts audits of policy and compliance to standards, including liaison with internal and external auditors.

Must Haves: Min15-+ years of relevant experience in risk management. Must have worked on mergers and acquisitions + enterprise risk management.Prior experience in management consulting along with experience in consumer goods, electronics,retail or manufacturing industry would be a major plus.
