Your Role: The client has an excellent culture which empowers and a professional's dream come true. They are a global organization in the food manufacturing and distribution business. We are seeking a high flier who has moved significantly well in his career and have a well-rounded experience in sales/marketing…plus exposure to managing manufacturing as well. You would be responsible for overall health of the Business with respect to Market Share, Sales Value & Volume, Profits and ROCE. Developing the Business Plan and Financial Budgets and Targets for the Business Unit and firming up the departmental plans in respect of Sales, Marketing, Factory, SCM and Finance. To contract for Exports Sales/Manufacturing/Domestic Sales, as needed, on agreed margins and transfer prices. To drive efficiencies in Operations by benchmarking costs with other companies .For new product development and introductions For ensuring periodic review of performance within the Business against pre-agreed Targets / KRAs / Indicators To Lead, Guide, Coach immediate team of Sales, Marketing, Factory, SCM and Finance Heads to deliver the business results. For market share and positioning of new products. For ensuring that the laws of the land are followed in respect of business transactions, employment, safety, health and environment.
Must Have: MBA from a renowned B school...minimum 15 to 20 max 20 years of holistic experience in the food industry. Should have managed cross functional team with manufacturing aspect being critical. The role is ideal for someone who loves emerging markets and understands that the challenges far surmount the opportunities these markets provide in terms of business and personal growth.
