Your Role: Our client is seeking to recruit a "thought leader" on growth strategy. What you need to bring to the table is not only your skills in formulation of strategy to set the organization on an aggressive growth path through diversification, M&A, new businesses, new markets but own and manage complex projects to ensure that implementation of the corporate strategy is done through a vigorous buy in from the different business units. Managing a high performing team you would need to find solutions across a myriad of different industry verticals. You would also play a pivotal role in overseeing the transformation agenda (operations excellence, digital, market growth).Develops and improves the annual Strategic Planning process and recommends techniques, concepts, analytical methods and economic analysis pertaining to long and medium term strategic planning activities. The organization is committed to driving growth through setting up various strategic growth platforms and needs not only an ivory tower thinker but someone who will translate it from a PowerPoint presentation to reality. The position requires the incumbent to have worked across multiple industry segments, should have worked with a Top Tier Strategy Consulting firm. Ideally you would be a Principal / Partner in a management consultancy with an excellent track record of delivering envious outputs on your projects.
Must Have: Minimum 10 years' work experience, (Associate Partner/Principle/Partner level). . Proven track record in leading strategy development and an excellent track record in high profile strategic role. Entrepreneurial drive, passion and ability to help shape the organization’s future.
Ability to provide strategic leadership and management, ensuring that the vision is neither lost nor diluted in the long run. A strong personality you should be able to carry people with you and increase understanding and appreciation of strategy across the organization.
