Job Description

Our Client- One of the leading regional player in the Middle East with interests deep and wide are looking for "guru" in the learning and development arena.

Your Role: This is one role that faces maximum retrenchment when the bottom line gets impacted. Our client is placing this front and centre of the organization's overall strategy. A key pillar and enabler for future growth. Succinctly put your key agenda is to embed learning as a part of the organization's culture going forward. You would enhance the profile of the centre of excellence, working on a strategy to buy, build or borrow tools/technology to address gaps. Ensure that it aligns overall plans to the business needs and transcend into the DNA of the company. While you own the strategy and deployment would be through business partners, you would lead the development agenda for a significant number of leadership team members. Cascade a meritocratic, value-driven performance culture across the different business units working closely with senior leadership. The business need is to have a Strategic leader who creates the ROI on the function and understands the impact of the same. Experience in retail/hospitality is an absolute must-have.

Must Have: Deep expertise in professional learning and talent development, Strong understanding of complex business operations. You need to be a PEOPLE'S PERSON, an Inspirational Leader who leads with a sense of purpose & Direction. Impeccable communicator, ability to manage stress and solution-seeking mindset. 15+ years’ experience in HR with 5+ years' direct experience in Talent Management space. Experience in education, training and leadership development of senior executives. Experience in building and leading new teams.
