Our client: This is a highly influential role within a growing organisation in the Fresh Food industry
Your Role: Our client needs a dynamic professional who carries over 12+ years of experience in sales, business development, distribution management and CRM in the Fresh produce industry. You would come from a strong direct distribution model, should have led a substantial team, should have the proven ability to manage operations and formulate the glide path for the business for the future. It is critical to have substantial length and breadth of experience in wholesale and retail to drive a business which is rapidly on the upward. Other than the functional competencies you would acquire in your stints as a Modern Trade / traditional trade expert, trade marketing expert, category management and sales capability ...you need to be a Strategic thinker who has a drive for results, Above average in understanding P&L proficiency, cash flow, balance sheet and very strong influencing skills which will be put to the test in markets where there is inertia. In a nutshell you would be responsible for sales strategy design and drive the implementation including RTM model, Trade term & condition, customer network building etc.
Must Haves: 12+ years of holistic and qualitative sales experience in the Fresh Produce industry supporting direct sales & distribution. Astute professional who carries not only operational excellence but the ability to put strategy plans together as well. Excellent communicator who can not only influence but can present to a Board as well. Fluency in English and Arabic is desirable but not a must have.
