It is expected that the Account Executive will understand all aspects of their vertical market expertise and technical solutions to include industry drivers, business objectives, operational issues, and key attributes of the types of decision makers and influencers. The ability to prioritize and segment customer targets based upon geography, customer characteristics and demographics will be paramount to the success of this position. A successful Account Executive assists with identifying, investigating, and evaluating new business opportunities and alliances that promote the organization's objectives.
The SLED positions are accountable for the development of strong relationships with Convergint’s SLED Nation Team

Reports to: Sales Manager
Collaborates with: Account Executives, Program Managers
Reporting Location: Los Angeles, CA
Territory: Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Bernardino County, Riverside County, and Kern County
Industries/Key Clients Selling to: Commercial markets, your relationships
Objectives: This position is an outbound Sales role with direct responsibility for selling Physical & Electronic Security, Fire Alarm & Life Safety, Healthcare Technologies, Mass Notification, and Communications. Integration services to SLED accounts. This is focused on complex deals with multiple decision makers and stakeholders in the client organization and our company.
Responsible for generating new business in new accounts and growing existing accounts in all lines of business. Develops and increases key account relationships to drive increased market share and sales opportunities. Hand off Account Management and lead these teams in your accounts. Continue to support and continue to find and develop new business.
