IT Manufacturing Systems Architect

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled IT Manufacturing Systems Architect to join their dynamic team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The responsibilities include defining, designing, developing, implementing & managing IT Architecture & solutions across the manufacturing plant include manufacturing systems (IT-OT), supporting IT Infrastructure & Security, shop floor connectivity (with AGV’s, etc.) and enterprise system integration (for e.g. ERP, etc.)
• High focus is required to ensure & enable digital manufacturing & automation: IIoT, Industry 4.0, AI/ML architecture and solutions
• Coordinate and anchor various Manufacturing IT initiatives spanning across various technology domains for defining the Manufacturing IT Architecture, maintenance and conformance management of the IT manufacturing Architecture
• Lead the architectural design, development, and deployment of comprehensive solutions across multiple domains
• Ensure that all solutions are scalable, secure, and comply with industry standards and best practices
• Provide leadership and guidance to the development team, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in technologies and methodologies, incorporating them into our solutions where appropriate
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the IT organization
• Evaluate existing systems and technologies to identify areas for improvement and optimization

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (master's degree preferred)
• Proven experience (7+ years) as a Manufacturing IT architect (10+ years’ experience with manufacturing systems)
• 5+ years’ experience implementing SCADA & PLC platforms
• Experience with IT-OT Integration, OT-Cybersecurity, IIoT use cases, AI/ML
• Integration experience with MES & ERP systems
• Experience in handling IT Architecture, IT Strategy and Consulting. Strong understanding of IT architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies. Proficiency in system design, integration, and implementation
• Experience in working with CTO/CIO and Chief Architect
• Experience in developing and presenting business cases
• Experience in handling large transformation engagements, which consists of diverse technology stack.
• Hands on expertise in implementation for more than one area- Application Rationalization/ Application Portfolio Assessment/ Application Modernization/ Digital Transformation/ ERP Transformation for manufacturing industry
