Job Description Our Client is a 5* International Chain Resort with 200+ units in Borneo, the resort is still in pre-opening phase.

You will be heavily involved with the pre-opening activities of this unique property.

Please note that this position is available for Malaysian Nationals only.


• Minimum 2 years experience in the same position, preferably in 5 star hotels
• 5* international chain hotel experience
• Excellent English both spoken and written
• Computer literate
• Ability to analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability
• Familiar with budgeting
• Familiar with purchasing and contract management instructions, strategies, policies, and procedures
• Able to prepare reports regarding market conditions, merchandise costs and vendor performance
• Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy
• Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids
• Able to locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales
• Able to assist preparing and processing requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment in accordance with company policy
• Wide network of suppliers and able to maintain vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships
• Energetic, hands-on and motivated
• Strong organization skills, problem solving skills, communication skills, customer & associate relation skills and result oriented
• Thinking outside the box/innovative ideas
• Energetic, hands-on and motivated
• Very strong attention to detail
• Team player at all levels, participates actively with team
