Civil or Geotechnical Engineer

Sequence has been exclusively retained and is currently seeking a capable civil, geotechnical, or structural engineer to join the industry's leading manufacturer of geo-structural products.

This is currently the highest profile position of its like within the niche industry.

An exceptional opportunity to work with the foremost experts in the geo-structural field, engage in project efforts, and serve as a subject matter expert for the organization.

The role is responsible for providing engineered geotechnical and structural solutions to a diverse range of clients. The projects primarily involve Deep Foundation, Earth Retention and Stability, Steve, and Concrete Design – with the role taking charge of these from inception to completion, with the following primary responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and analyze structural and geotechnical data, transforming complex challenges into innovative solutions.
  • Undertake construction estimating, ensuring precision and accuracy in every calculation.
  • Develop comprehensive material take-offs and quotes for client efforts.
  • Provide technical guidance and serve as subject matter expert for inquiries or in support of sales engineer activities.
  • Develop and review engineering submittals, ensuring they meet precision and quality standards.
  • Interact and collaborate with contractors and engineers; work to forge strong relationships.
  • Communicate with intercompany departments, bridging gaps and ensuring project needs are met.
  • Visits job sites and gain hands-on training and experience to hone your skills and knowledgebase.

Qualifications would ideally include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Structure Engineering, or Construction Management from an accredited university program.
  • Passion for the engineering and/or construction industry, with at least 1-5 years of experience.
  • Ability to navigate and manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Be a professional fueled by ambition, self-motivation, and an ability to think independently.

Hold or are eligible to test for EIT (Engineer in Training). A PE (Professional Engineer) certification would be a plus to consideration but not required.
