Sequence has been exclusively retained and is currently seeking a Design Manager for a venture backed fire protection organization in San Diego.

This is currently one of the nicest geographic locations in the United States and relocation is available to the right individual.

The expanding organization is seeking both a technical and a management level professional to be charged with oversight of the organizations design team of seven professionals. The position is key to the organization as it integrates into the companies overall management structure interacting with all the key group and divisions within.

This is currently the most high profile position of its like in the niche industry regionally.

Specifically, we are seeking an individual with proven design abilities in the Fire Protection industry. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's design operations for multiple ongoing projects and engagements.

The organization has a corporate culture that seeks to empower employees with challenging endeavors and works best with those possessing an optimistic and positive mindset. The position requires prior accounting experience (ideally with understanding of consulting efforts or in a related field such as construction, environmental services, etc.). So the right fit would be someone with a passion for real estate, construction, and finance, coupled with a strong work ethic, who is highly motivated, organized, tenacious, and results-oriented.

This could be an excellent fit for a mid to senior-level Accounting Manager or Controller seeking to grow into a role that they could make their own. It might also be an excellent fit for a proven Controller and financial executive to find a long term home with the right organization.
