Warranty / Service Manager - Homebuilding
Sequence has been exclusively retained and is actively seeking an experienced Warranty / Service Department Manager in Fresno, CA. This position is a result of an employee's retirement during the COVID epidemic and the desire of leadership to build out their warranty and service operations.
It is currently the most high-profile role of its kind here in the industry regionally - affording the chance of a professional to take over a departmental operation and structure it as their own.
Our client, a respected builder/developer with Central Valley operations who will construct 400 single-family homes this year in the local market, has tasked us with finding the most dynamic and capable individual available.
This position is 100% focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience. Having built thousands of homes regionally, they are committed to providing outstanding value to homeowners that reflect their brand and commitment to quality.
Daily routines focus on department management and oversight of hands-on work performing inspections of homeowner warranty claims, conducting builder meetings, performing Quality Inspections and New Home Orientations, including the generation of punch lists as required based on construction industry standards.
Key attributes required include a keen mind and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify potential building concerns and issues as well as a the perspective of providing a quality resolution that meets warranty standards.
Ideally, this would include the ability to enhance operations through schedule and warranty management activities leveraged against technology and processes/procedures to document the progress of needed repairs and ensure services are carried out. So, the ability to multi-task and manage multiple contractors and work and communicate closely with homeowners, sub-contractors, and other team members while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail are critical to job success.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years proven experience in the construction/home building/residential customer service arena and is a demonstrated customer experience superstar.
