Job Description

APPLICATIONS SUPPORT ANALYST - Greater Memphis Area - Perm Position

Our Cliet is seeking an Applications Support Analyst for their corporate office in the Greater Memphis Area. This position plays an integral role in assisting end-users in a variety of situations. This person will use their problem solving ability to resolve issues ranging from instructing users on how to navigate and setup systems to investigating data discrepancies in point of sale and accounting systems. This analyst will run diagnostic scripts, diagnose and collaborate with application developers to correct system issues, and ensure that customer support to the end users is exceptional. What is most important is a working knowledge of financial and/or supply chain applications. This position provides someone with a financial and/or supply chain background the opportunity to explore their interests in systems. Helena is willing to train the individual with this experience in the specific applications.

  • Provides tier II subject matter expert support for business processes and functional applications such as receivables, payables, purchasing, inventory management, general ledger, order management, supply chain management and warehouse management.
  • Researches, analyzes and resolves systems and interface issues.
  • Analyzes and determines if processes need to be revised, makes recommendations, and implements necessary changes for future support needs and permanent resolution.
  • Mentors Tier 1 Analysts to improve first call resolution.
  • Hosts demos for end users on operation and functionality of business applications.
  • Reviews business software changes to determine potential business impact.
  • Participates in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
  • Other work-related duties as assigned by leader.
  • Reliable and regular attendance is expected.

Education and experience needed for this position

  • Bachelor’s degree is required or a minimum of two years of experience in one of the following: accounting, finance, supply chain management, or agriculture is required.
