SUMMARY:

Assists in the set-up and operation of machine and/or hand lines, and performs other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to operate equipment including carton erecters, tape machines, box printers, conveyors, etc.
• Understands and properly completes all necessary paperwork associated with the operation of the line.
• Ensures quality of product throughout operation of line.
• Properly clean all equipment after each run and prep for the next run.
• Adheres to all SOPs, cGMP, and SQF guidelines associated with these and other duties.
• Ability to work overtime as needed to meet customer demands.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk and to evaluate product by handling and/or feeling. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This is a fast paced, moderate noise level environment with exposure to the following allergens: milk, eggs, fish, peanuts, wheat, crustacean shellfish, soybean, tree nut, and gluten.
