Our organization is currently seeking mid and senior level Mechanical Utilities Engineers.

A national engineering firm which offers complete planning, process engineering, facility development, and construction management services exclusively to the food and beverage industries is actively looking for mechanical utilities engineers to operate out of several U.S. based locations.

The ideal fit for this role will have experience with sanitary environments specifically in the food industry with a focus on industrial design. So if you have four years of relevant experience an industrial manufacturing setting, and a PE or FE certificate, please consider applying for this excellent opportunity!

Primary Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant design experience
• 2+ years of relevant field experience (i.e., installation oversight, contractor experience)
• Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Bachelor Degree, candidates without a minimum of a Bachelor degree will not be considered.

• Some travel is required, estimated at 15-25%

Additional Requirements

• Ammonia or Freon central refrigeration systems used to support food processing and storage at

• large facilities.
• Freon split systems used to provide cooling at smaller facilities
• Steam/condensate, compressed air, chilled glycol/water generation, water filtration systems
• Piping systems for utility distribution
• Generation of equipment and piping specifications, utility PFD's & P&ID's
• Knowledge of national, state and insurance requirements for installations, pressure vessels, and piping.
• Energy efficiency, consumption and utility incentives
• Installation supervision and system start up assistance
• Report writing and presentations to clients

The successful candidates will be professional, self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic with excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Compensation includes base salary (based on experience) plus eligibility for performance bonus, profit share, 401k employer contribution, health/dental/disability/life benefits, flexible spending and paid vacation.
