Director of Preconstruction

A South East based builder is in search of a Director of Preconstruction for their Charleston, SC office. This company has experienced successful growth for decades and builds in a variety of commercial and industrial markets. They focus their efforts on general commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, office buildings, senior living, etc. This company has an outstanding reputation and is offering a generous compensation structure as well as opportunity for advancement. A qualified candidate must possess the following:

• 10+ years of experience estimating/preconstruction in commercial construction
• Experience mentoring, leading and managing a team of Estimators
• Experience with projects of at least $10 million
• Knowledge of design build, conceptual estimating
• Ability to form strong relationships with subcontractors, owners, architects, engineers, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, Business or related field is preferred
