Sequence has been retained and is currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Vice President of Revenue Generation
This position is structured to be based in Oregon
Our client, established in the space as one of the leading players to consumers, is expanding sales efforts from its more traditional customer-centered focus other markets.
They have tasked us in the effort of finding a lead for all revenue generation activities. So, reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President Revenue Generation
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced sales and marketing leader who cares about both business success and a sustainable environment to join a renewable energy company at the start of a scaling phase with the potential to revolutionize and impact the way millions of people use energy and be part of the solution to climate change rather than part of the problem.
The role is responsible for the performance, strategy, and alignment of all departments within the organization that have any relation to revenue generation. This includes identifying and delivering new revenue opportunities in the market, growing revenue from the client base, creating a sustainable strategy for future growth, and delivering accurate revenue projections.
As a sales and marketing expert, the Vice President of Revenue must be a strategic pragmatist, while as a people manager, cultivating and providing opportunities for rising talent within the organization.
Experience with both e-commerce and direct sales is preferred.
Ideally, this would include a track record of scaling a consumer-facing and commercial products from an organization of $30M to $100M+ revenue with a constantly curious about new business and technological innovations and a willingness to learn, adapt, and implement new things into the playbook. Plus to consideration would be digital marketing and selling into home or building products markets.
The organization is low ego, open, and results-oriented. So, they are looking for someone with that same mindset.
