Traditional Owner member and Proxies to the Reef 2050 Advisory Committee
The Australian Government is seeking expressions of interest for a Traditional Owner member and Proxies to the Reef 2050 Advisory Committee. This is an exciting opportunity for strategic and collaborative leaders to create a real, lasting impact for Traditional Owners of the Great Barrier Reef.
About the Advisory Committee
The Reef 2050 Advisory Committee facilitates engagement with industry and the broader community on the implementation and review of the Reef 2050 Plan. It may also be asked to provide advice on other Reef matters including the Reef 2050 Water Quality Improvement Plan, Reef Trust, and other initiatives
About the Opportunities
The membership already includes one male Traditional Owner. We are seeking expressions of interest from female Traditional Owners of the Great Barrier Reef to fill a second position, as well as expressions of interest for proxies for both the male and female positions for the Reef 2050 Advisory Committee.

Your location is flexible, as you will travel to attend 3 full-day face-to-face meetings per year with preparation estimated to take one day per meeting. You will be remunerated for your time to attend and prepare for meetings, and your travel expenses will be covered.
