Job Description

eCommerce Senior Director – Perm Position – Memphis, TN

Our client is seeking an Ecommerce Senior Director to come and join their team. This position will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s eCommerce channel by defining and managing best in class strategy processes, procedures, and execution tactics and working cross functionally to ship large digital project.


  • Manage web business channel strategy & performance across commercial & industrial businesses, ensuring top-line revenue and margin dollar growth exceeds plan.
  • Own, communicate, & drive execution of feature map.
  • Communicate and present channel health, progress to plan, and newfound opportunities to Sr. Management and the board.
  • Ensure up-to-date actionable processes and documentation of requirements/tasks related to maintaining/updating websites
  • Manage processes, team, technology, and cross-functional activities evolving website to a best-in-class customer experience
  • Lead large-scale project prioritization, scoping, execution, sprints, and resource alignment in parallel with steady-state operations for e-Commerce.
  • Work with UX to define playbook, user flows/path analysis, customer needs, gap, experience requirements, & recommend needed people, process, and technology solution to resolve gaps.
  • Drive a best-in-class digital practice that ensures proper uptime and optimizations of critical applications (ex. Search, project portal, freight calculator, my account, chat), break/fix needs, and end-to-end customer experience needs;
  • Work wit peers and customers to build business cases to solve eCommerce experience and tool gaps;
  • Work with analytics team to align measurable c-level targets and eports for monthly & quarterly reports and to influence optimizations.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Marketing Strategy Team, Performance Marketing, IT, Sales & Product teams on eCommerce initiatives and 3rd party site integrations and to ensure quality of searchability. Product taxonomy, filters, etc. (&alignment to the right audience);
  • Optimize existing SEO strategy and work with team to monitor/maintain (include credibility, content, and crawlability)
  • Work with external agencies to ship large-scale projects.
  • Delivery and management of digital knowledge platform;
  • Work as conduit between the business and IT to ensure timely releases of new features and functionality.


  • Bachelor’s (Preferred)
  • eCommerce 5 years (Preferred)
  • Management 3 years (Preferred)
