Job Description POSITION: RESIDENT SUPPORT ASSOCIATE – Hourly Non-Exempt
The position of Resident Support Associate is a part-time hourly position with a
schedule of Monday-Friday 4:00pm-8:00pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: High School Diploma or GED. Proven skills in time management,
written/verbal communication, the ability to prioritize tasks, demonstrated
proficiency in computer skills. Basic kitchen skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
Preferred: Two or more years of prior experience at a non-profit organization or
equivalent working experience. Two or more years of childcare experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in the kitchen with meal serving, cleaning up after meals including
dishes, store cooked food in containers and place in refrigerator/freezer,
monitor the dining room if only one CSS staff member is on present.
2. Assist in Central Station if only one CSS staff member is present.
3. Offer childcare for children of all ages, during scheduled resident activities.
4. Perform resident intakes.
5. Monitor safety of residential areas.
6. Other duties as assigned.
