Talent Business Analyst (HR Generalist)

San Jose, Costa Rica

The Talent Business Analyst (HR Generalist) will provide support to, and reports to, the US Costa Rica (USCR) HR Manager in the delivery of talent services to the Business while serving as the primary contact for HR policies, procedures, and programs.


Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supports the US Costa Rica HR Manager, while partnering with talent workstreams across geographies, to deliver talent lifecycle events (Employee Lifecycle Events, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Payroll, Technology)
  • Proactively synthesizes data in a meaningful way; creates reports (Excel) and develops Executive Summaries (PowerPoints) to present clear and concise data insights to business leaders
  • Leads reporting efforts, data reconciliation, and analysis for the US Costa Rica HR Manager
  • Supports the onboarding activities of new hires and on-site resource for acclimation, with consideration to the start-up nature of USCR
  • Supports local Costa Rica nuanced Talent processes and internal HR communications
  • Serve as the primary contact for HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Ensure compliance with local policies and procedures
  • Support HR projects and initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to properly handle confidential information
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to organize multiple projects and manage multiple tasks and activities

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources leadership experience and/ or directly related experience
  • Undergraduate degree required (4 year)
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the Costa Rica without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Strong English oral and written communication skills
