SENIOR SALES ROLE – JOIN A LEADING EDGE B2B COMMERCIAL PRINTING AND DIGITAL MEDIA FIRM – VERY GOOD COMPENSATION - LOCATION TORONTO AREA.
YOU MUST HAVE CURRENT EXPERIENCE IN PRINT AND DIGITAL MEDIA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO GENERATE $500,000 TO $1,000,000 IN SALES OR MORE PER ANNUM. YOUR REWARD WILL BE SIGNIFICANT.

Choose one of two alternatives – base salary plus bonus plus car allowance or commission program plus car allowance. Both alternatives provide a phone allowance and benefits. PeopleFind Inc, a national recruiting firm, has been commissioned to find a Senior Sales Professional for this high tech leader in print, data driven digital print communications and digital cross media. This includes satisfying many needs including print, imaging, sign and media displays, ordering, fulfillment, mailing marketing integrated to digital media including the development of social sharing software to meet all of their clients’ communication and marketing needs. The company is now successful in providing 10 unique service lines meeting the needs of their clients.
The company we represent started in commercial printing; management recognized the need to consolidate various print and digital technologies by blending conventional print, the web, data services, high speed inkjet and digital print with full variable capabilities - to produce the industry’s most relevant and creative print communications programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct sales activities - qualify sales leads, make sales presentations to appropriate customers, close sales and provide excellent customer support.
Write ‘request for quotation’ - identifying in detail job specifications; prepare “change orders” as necessary.
Ensure that all necessary films, disks with color lasers, job specifications and color approvals are obtained from the customer.
Oversee job process from start to finish.
Supply controller with credit information assisting in credit approvals and debt collections as required.
Establish and maintain customer loyalty. Resolve customer complaints in accordance with company policy.
Process enquiries and orders through correct procedures. Act as customer contact throughout processing of the order.
Keep apprised of market trends, competitors’ activities, new products and methods, opportunities, and keep sales management apprised thereof.
Maintain complete file on each job and customer on CRM System.
Keep sales files up-to-date by providing documentation to Sales Manager.
Prepare Annual Sales Budget indicating projected sales volume for each customer by month.
Create and maintain a plan of sales activities.
Report on activities on routine basis, and respond promptly to management requests.
Advise sales secretary or receptionist of whereabouts at all times.
Keep in close contact with production department on material flow from customer and notify customer of consequence of providing material late and resulting delay in delivery.
Properly complete dockets, complete with customer contact and phone number.
Ensure all additional charges from change notices are charged, and advise customer of change notices as they occur, eliminating problems when invoiced.
Prepare pro-forma invoice.
Keep customer “profile activity report binder” up to date.
Provide quarterly budgets and revise monthly.
Attend scheduled sales meetings.
Adhere to Health and Safety Policy, and to report all unsafe and all unhealthy work conditions.
REQUIREMENTS:
Five (5) years’ experience with responsibility in sales and marketing in the commercial print / graphic communications industry.
Have a client base minimum book of business not less than $500K to $1 million plus.
Extensive knowledge of the commercial print / graphic arts industry.
Knowledge of Digital Print and Direct Mail.
Professional selling and presentation skills.
Able to deliver effective PowerPoint presentations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
High school diploma, plus post-secondary business degree and /or related experience.
COMPENSATION:
Two programs to choose from: a) salary plus bonus; or b) commission. Car allowance, phone allowance and benefits part of both programs. Compensation should provide a very good living.
