Position: Regional Vice President, Executive Benefits (Remote)

Job Description:

As Regional Vice President of Executive Benefits, you will play a pivotal role in expanding market presence, driving business development, and accelerating revenue growth while partnering with employee benefits and retirement advisory firms nationwide. This role demands extensive expertise in executive benefits, a proven track record of sales success, and a passion for collaborating with consultants to address key challenges in talent acquisition, retention, and benefit restoration.

With a strong emphasis on the Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation (NQDC) space, you will provide innovative executive benefit solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional revenue goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry relationships and building new connections.
  • Drive the growth of executive benefits solutions, including NQDC, corporate key person life/disability protection, COLI/BOLI, and other executive benefit programs.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-suite executives, HR professionals, and financial advisors.
  • Provide expert consultation on executive benefits strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize market insights to refine sales strategies and adapt to evolving market conditions.
  • Maintain high operational efficiency, managing resources effectively to maximize profitability.
  • Uphold exceptional client service standards, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in executive benefits sales, with a strong focus on non-qualified deferred compensation
  • Minimum of 3+ years of NQDC sales experience required; 5 years preferred.

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated success in individual contributor roles with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Extensive experience in client relationship management, with the ability to consult – explain complex solutions in a simplified manner.
  • Strong understanding of executive benefits products and the regulatory environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives.
  • Strategic thinker with a client-focused approach and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
