Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic / Commercial Transport Mechanic – Various British Columbia Locations

Locations:
South Vancouver Island: Greater Victoria, Malahat/Duncan area
Positions also available in Revelstoke, BC and Quesnel, BC

Full-Time, Year-Round, Stable hours and Stable employment
Pay rate, $40+ per hour depending on location and collective agreement + shift premiums + overtime + excellent benefits

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic or Commercial Transport Mechanic (310T / Red Seal) to join one of several well-established operations in BC including South Vancouver Island, Revelstoke and Quesnel in the BC Interior, and Metro Vancouver.er Island.

If you are a certified Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, Commercial Transport Mechanic, or Truck Mechanic, these are excellent opportunities to apply your skills in a supportive, safety-first environment.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections.
• Conduct welding and fabrication as required.
• Maintain accurate service documentation.
• Mentor apprentices and promote a safety culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Journeyman Certificate in Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (HDET) or Truck & Transport Mechanic (310T / Commercial Transport).
• Valid BC driver’s license (Class 3 with Air preferred; clean abstract required).
• Welding/fabrication experience an asset.
• Physically capable, safety-focused, and reliable.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
