We’re partnering with a nationally recognized home builder to find a Project Manager – Civil Engineering who’s excited to lead projects from concept to completion. This is a rare opportunity to be part of an internal engineering team that sets the pace and standard for the industry.


What You'll Do

In this role, you'll be the go-to person for both technical execution and project coordination. Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for client-side representatives and regulatory agencies.
  • Leading internal project teams of engineers, CAD designers, and technicians, plus external subs and contractors.
  • Overseeing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overall technical direction.
  • Managing project timelines and financials from start to finish.
  • Providing quality control oversight on designs, contracts, and deliverables.
  • Resolving technical challenges with minimal oversight.
  • Staying up to date on the latest regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
  • Balancing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Assisting with construction phase services (site visits, bid documents, submittal reviews, pay apps).
  • Overnight travel as needed.
  • Maintaining professionalism and integrity in all business dealings.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited school.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (or the ability to obtain one).
  • 4+ years of civil engineering experience focused on land development.
  • Proven leadership skills with an interest in mentoring and developing talent.
  • Experience writing technical deliverables (work plans, contracts, reports, project correspondence).
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Project).
  • Strong communication skills—written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and juggle competing deadlines.
