Our client, an LLC under the umbrella of a larger Home Builder / Developer, provides internal civil engineering
services directly to the land development company. With an emphasis on land development
design, our client prepares lots for sale to homebuilders. The vast majority of their lots are sold to their
wholly owned homebuilding parent company. Combined entities employ over 200
people and due to dynamic growth, their burgeoning engineering team is looking to add a Civil
Project Engineer to their team in Fort Worth.

Position Summary:
The Project Manager will be an integral part of the Engineering team assisting with engineering
support primarily for new residential communities. This position will be responsible for assuring
construction plans and studies necessary to construct infrastructure improvements to serve
single-family residential communities throughout North Texas are completed on time and meet
project requirements and standards for construction in the North Texas area. The Project
Manager will lead a team of 3-12 civil engineers and designers and will have the ability to grow
their team as workload allows.
Responsibilities:
• Identify scope of projects and potential projects
• Prepare and maintain project schedules and resources
• Help train and mentor Project Engineer and assists with calculations and reports
• Responsible for construction plans, reports, and studies
• Coordinate all subconsultants and staff to meet deadlines
• Attend public hearings (i.e., Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council Meetings)
• Meet with City/County officials to discuss project requirements/submittals
• Attend industry events and become involved in the community
Skills:
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
• Microsoft office 365 environment
• Good written and verbal communication
• Strong professional presence and leadership skills.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 8+ years of professional work experience
• Professional Engineer license
• Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S
