Plant Manager – Pork Processing (Harvest Facility)

We’re looking for a Plant Manager who knows how to run a tight, efficient operation, but more importantly, knows how to lead people, elevate standards, and create a facility that performs at a high level every single day.

This isn’t a maintenance role. This is a build, lead, and optimize role inside a core production facility.

What You’ll Do

You’ll take full ownership of a pork harvest facility, leading everything from:

  • Daily production, throughput, and yield performance
  • USDA compliance, food safety, and audit readiness
  • Labor planning, staffing, and frontline leadership development
  • Cost control, efficiency, and operational discipline
  • Continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
  • You’ll ensure the operation runs safely, efficiently, and consistently with no surprises.
  • You’ll lead through supervisors and build a team that is accountable, stable, and high-performing.

Who You Are

  • Proven leader within meat processing or harvest (pork preferred)
  • Experienced managing in a USDA-inspected environment
  • Strong operational mindset- focused on throughput, yield, labor efficiency, and execution
  • Able to lead from the floor while developing leadership beneath you
  • Decisive, accountable, and comfortable owning outcomes

  • Identifies issues early and acts quickly
  • Balances people, performance, and process without overcomplicating things
