Our client, a well-established civil engineering firm headquartered in New Jersey, is expanding into Eastern Pennsylvania and seeks a seasoned Office Leader / Principal to spearhead this growth. The firm specializes in a diverse range of projects, including single-family and multi-family residential developments, industrial warehouses, data centers, commercial, and retail spaces.
This leadership role offers the unique opportunity to establish and grow a new office, leveraging the firm's strong reputation and resources. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and project delivery within the civil engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic plan for the new office, aligning with the firm's overall vision and goals.

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and expand the firm's presence in the Eastern Pennsylvania market.

Project Oversight: Lead and manage a portfolio of civil engineering projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.

Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of engineers and support staff.

Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day office operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Business Acumen: Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.

Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in land development projects, including residential, industrial, and commercial sectors.
