Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Categorizing primary criteria and conveying them through the implementation of production procedures or standards in the aerospace industry.
    • Production and maintenance of engineering drawings.
    • Generation and maintenance of customers' print and specification files.
    • Creation and maintenance of routers, instructions, and MPSs.
    • Guidance and oversight of manufacturing engineering personnel of 4 or more Engineers.
      • Supervising manufacturing and process development and improvement-related projects by way of the company’s project management system.
      • Collaborating with and providing assistance to Production by determining manufacturing related problems and making appropriate changes to tooling, materials, or procedures when needed.
      • Providing technical assistance to fellow employees or customers.
      • Promoting cooperation and efficiency within the Manufacturing Engineering Department and between departments.
      • Conformance to, and encouraging conformance to, the policies and regulations of the company manual.

Minimum Requirements:

-B.S. in Engineering or other technical field of study.
-5+ years of manufacturing experience and supervisor or management experience as well.
-Experience with process optimization, process control, and configuration management.
-Experience with AutoCad and Solidworks CAD programs.
-Aerospace or rotating machinery background a plus.
-Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
