Our client is looking for a Licensed Maintenance Mechanic to join an innovative, growing food manufacturing company that provides its employees with challenging yet rewarding work.

Should you be hired, you will be responsible for providing overall support to the production group in packaging, processing, and facilities and to make sure that operations are continuous and successful. You will perform maintenance work on plant equipment with attention to safety and ensuring that the equipment and machines follow GMP (good manufacturing practices) and are in good working condition.

Applicants must be willing to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, midnights, weekends, and 12-hour continental rotating shifts. Start times may vary, making adaptability a key requirement for these roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures, GMPs, and wearing PPE in designated areas;

Adhere to food quality and safety standards as per quality systems and SQF requirements;

Troubleshoot and repair a variety of systems including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical / electronic equipment;

⁠Execute complex corrective and preventative maintenance based on a strong understanding of mechanical theories and principles;

Drive improvements in work order effectiveness, completion rates, backlog reduction, and establish prioritized work orders with enhanced methods and procedures;

⁠⁠Contribute to measurable improvements in maintenance-related downtime and associated costs, supporting corporate goals and sharing best practices across the enterprise;

REQUIREMENTS:

Must Haves

Hold Industrial Millwright 433A License for 3 years of more.

4 to 5 years of industrial mechanical experience, preferably in the food industry.

Proven track record working with mechanics, machine shop practices, pneumatic & hydraulic fields.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Comfortable using computers.

Ability to work well within a team and independently.

Capable of occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with unique daily challenges.

Availability for a flexible shift schedule, including day/afternoon/night shifts, Sunday to Saturday, and holidays.

Good to Have

Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment (Food industry is highly preferred).

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Can complete all other duties as instructed and assigned by Leader.

COMPENSATION:

Base salary: $43.00 per hour.

$1 Night Shift Premium.

$1 Dual Ticket Premium

$1 Weekend Premium
