Job Description:
As an Investment Counselor, you’ll be the face and voice of our clients' Investments for our U.S. customers. Through our comprehensive training program, you’ll gain advanced expertise in finance and capital markets to confidently represent our innovative investment approach.
You’ll collaborate with portfolio decision-makers, research teams, client service associates, and top sales professionals, all within our fee-only fiduciary model—ensuring our compensation aligns with the client’s best interests, not commissions. With mentorship and ongoing career development, you’ll have the tools to grow and thrive in your investment career.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Educate clients on our top-down portfolio strategy, guiding them through specific investments and key market events.
- Develop expertise in their investment philosophy and best practices while working alongside experienced mentors.
- Partner with the sales team to gradually build a roster of high-net-worth clients within your first year.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, fostering strong, long-term relationships within our Private Client Group.
- Proactively engage with clients quarterly to review asset allocation and ensure alignment with their long-term financial goals.
- Leverage an extensive research database with unlimited access to both internal and external market insights.
- Collaborate across teams, working with portfolio decision-makers, client service associates, and other internal groups to support client portfolios and operational tasks.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- 2+ years of instilling trust and building client relationships within the finance industry.
- Series 65 (our client will help you obtain upon starting).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
