Forklift Operator/ Material Handler

Trillium Staffing is hiring for several full time Forklift Operator positions at the General Motors Assembly Plant in Oshawa.

Mandatory qualifications include:

1. 3 years of experience on a Counterbalance Forklift

1. Clear criminal record
2. Reliable transportation to facility (public transit may not be available)

Must meet all 3 qualifications to be considered for the position

• Proof of Vaccination is not required!

Shift Times:

2 available shifts are as follows:

• Rotating Shift: 2weeks on days (6:30am-2:30pm) and then 2 weeks on afternoons (2:30pm to 10:30pm Monday to Friday)
• Overnight Shift: Sunday night to Friday morning 10:30pm-6:30am
• Must be available to work overtime when required

*Shift Selection cannot be guaranteed

The ideal candidate will also have:

• Comprehension of health and safety standards
• The ability to lift up to 30 lbs when necessary ( no consistent Lifting)
• Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
• Maintain company safety standards including wearing safety shoes
