Will Design Electrical & electronic products and systems according to parameters required by customers. Often will work with customers and their requirements to develop the parameters and performance requirements various types of electro-mechanical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods to ensure that customer needs are met.
- Develops electrical products that electronic in nature by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; soliciting observations from operators.
- Assures system and product quality by testing finished product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
- Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
- Completes projects by training and guiding technicians who train customer in the use of their new equipment.
- Works with customers and sales engineers to handle technical aspects of sales.
Requirements:
5 years or more of experience is a must
Electro-Mechanical background
Experience working in Manufacturing a plus
Knowledge in PCB Layout is a plus
Programming Embedded Systems
Knowledge of ORCAD and Altium
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Masters Degree would be a plus
