Our client, an LLC under the umbrella of a larger Home Builder / Developer, provides internal civil engineering
services directly to the land development company. With an emphasis on land development
design, our client prepares lots for sale to homebuilders. The vast majority of their lots are sold to their
wholly owned homebuilding parent company. Combined entities employ over 200
people and due to dynamic growth, their burgeoning engineering team is looking to add a Civil
Project Engineer to their team in Fort Worth.

Position Summary:
The Civil Project Engineer will be an integral part of the Engineering team assisting with
engineering support primarily for new residential communities. This position will assist with
preparing construction plans and studies necessary to complete roadway, grading, drainage,
water, and sewer improvements to serve single-family residential communities throughout
North Texas. The Project Engineer will be part of a team working under the supervision of a
professional engineer and is expected to be on a path to licensure.
Responsibilities:
• Work with project manager on establishing preliminary design intent, schedule, and necessary deliverables
• Directs EITs on advancing design to final
• Responsible for drainage calculations
• Responsible for grading
• Responsible for sizing utilities and storm drain
• Writes reports/studies
Skills:
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
• Microsoft office 365 environment
• Good written and verbal communication
• Strong professional presence and leadership skills
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 2-8 years of professional work experience
• EIT or Professional Engineer license
• Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.
